Can I install the extensions myself?
Yes. That’s what the kit is made for. Your printed guide takes you through it in eight steps, and Candice’s video shows a full install. Start with clean, dry hair, with no conditioner near the roots.
What if I can’t reach the back of my head?
Place one mirror behind you and one in front so you can see your sections. Clip the top layers out of the way and work from the nape of your neck upwards.
Can someone help me, or can my hairdresser install them?
Absolutely. Install them yourself, ask a friend, or take your kit to your own hairdresser. Salon optional, not salon banned.
What if I put a weft in the wrong place?
Don’t pull it off. Spray the tape with your Honeymoon remover, let it soak for 30 to 60 seconds, then gently separate your hair from the tape with your fingertips. Put fresh tape on the weft from your extra roll and place it again.
Are tape-ins right for my hair?
Our kits are made for healthy hair, including naturally fine hair. If your hair is breaking or thinning, or your scalp is sensitive or irritated, speak to your hairdresser or a trichologist before you install.
How often should I retape?
Remove and reinstall every 3–4 weeks. Your kit includes a roll of extra tape, and refills are available. With proper care, the hair itself can be reused for up to a year.
How do I remove them?
Brush out any knots, then section your hair so you can reach each weft. Soak the tape generously with your Honeymoon remover, including underneath, and wait 30 to 60 seconds. Then gently separate your hair from the tape with your fingertips. Our tapes aren’t sandwiched, so there are no two tapes to pull apart. Watch the full removal lesson.
